Mike Daniels - Trumpet and band leader of the Mike Daniels Delta Jazzmen. It’s a case of “Local boy blows good”. A pupil of Aldenham School and residing in Elstree he became interested in Jazz as a boy and formed the Delta Jazzmen band when still a teenager. Mike had the rare distinction of a live Jazz Club broadcast on the BBC Light Programme on Saturday evening September 25th 1948
