Alessandro Canini, “Bubu”. Drums, Also, singer and songwriter. Originally from Italy. Very busy in many different music genres. Based in London. Particularly a specialist in New Orleans “street beat” rhythms, as well as reggae, gipsy jazz, swing, Dixieland, and more. Originally trained as a classical percussion player, the London jazz world is grateful that his tastes changed. Bubu has been part of the Sunshine Kings, and Graham Hughes’ other band The Brass Volcanoes, for over ten years now. Touring up and down the country and abroad.
