Band Info

Peter Curtis – Clarinets, alto sax and vocals. A stalwart of the Kent jazz scene for over forty years, Peter at one time played regularly with Ken Colyer. He runs his own New Orleans Echoes Band and marching band. He joined The Great Northern Jazz Band as a replacement for Roger Myerscough. His smooth vocal style is just right to put over ballads which have always been a feature of the band’s programme.
