Band Info

Jim Heard – Clarinet. I auditioned for the Frog Island Jazz Band in April 2000 at the instigation of my good friend George Tidiman who advised me of a vacancy. The band played a style I had always admired and because I knew the tunes and ‘the words’ they decided to keep me (editor’s note – he forgets to mention his charges were so reasonable). After joining the Frogs I admitted that I had waited 18 years for the call.
