Jackie Free’s All Stars In the 1980’s Jack formed his own band Jack Free and the Chicagoans. Over the years he has had the pleasure of having great musicians in his band the likes of Digby Fairweather, Mike Cotton, John Patey, Dave Shepherd and Enrico Tomasso. The current line-up of the band is Pete Rudeforth trumpet, who plays in the Chris Barber band, John Crocker clarinet and saxes, who played in the Chris Barber band for twenty six years, Jack Free trombone, John China piano, Murray Salmon bass and Martin Guy on drums.
