Mysto´s Hot Lips Is a very qualified traditional jazz band from Gothenburg in Sweden. This Scandinavian traditional jazz band plays in the style of Chris Barber and Ken Colyer. The band was formed in 1982 and thus we have been playing together for more than thirty years. All the time we have been a touring band all over Europe. We have played a lot of different festivals. The huge international Dixieland festival in Dresden we have played four times (1987, 1999, 2005 and 2012). We have also played for instance the festivals in Gronau (Germany), Dissen (Germany), Köpenick (Germany), Cyprus, Hungary, Enkhuizen (Netherlands), Gorinchem (Netherlands), s´Hertogenbosch (Netherlands), Malvern, Silkeborg (Denmark), Dunkerque (France) and an amazing lot of other festivals. We have also guested many famous clubs such as 100 Oxford Street in London, Cotton Club in Hamburg, Old Duke in Bristol, Jazz in the Spa, Boston Spa, Die Tonne, Dresden, Storyville in Helsinki, Vognporten, Copenhagen, and Stampen, Stockholm. A mixture of old and young players. To-days line-up is a thrilling mix of young and older musicians. The music is based on the English revival style from the 50´s and 50´s, music from the trad boom.
